Studio Policy
Lessons are billed on a monthly basis, and tuition is due on the first lesson of the new month. Payments not received within 10 days of the due date will incur a $25 late fee.
I accept payments via cash, personal checks, Zelle, and Venmo.
If a student needs to discontinue lessons, a minimum of two weeks' notice is required. Tuition will be billed for two additional lessons from the date notice is provided, even if the student chooses not to attend those lessons. This ensures a smooth transition and allows time to adjust the teaching schedule.
Tuition & Payment
Consistent attendance is critical for musical progress. Please make lessons a priority to ensure steady improvement.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will not be refunded, rescheduled, or credited unless there is an emergency (e.g., being sick in bed or family emergency).
If you are not feeling well, please choose to do an online lesson instead of coming to an in-person lesson. The Zoom Meet option is available as long as you contact me ahead of time to let me know.
No-shows (lessons missed without notice) will not be refunded or credited.
Frequent cancellations or rescheduling requests may result in losing the reserved lesson time.
In case of heavy snow or unsafe travel conditions, students may opt for an online lesson instead of an in-person lesson. Please notify me as soon as possible if you need to switch to an online lesson due to weather concerns.
If I need to cancel a lesson, it will be rescheduled at a mutually agreeable time or a credit will be applied toward the next month’s tuition.
Cancellation & Attendance
By enrolling in lessons, students and families agree to these policies. Adhering to these guidelines helps maintain a positive learning environment and ensure consistency for all students. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
